Fifa HAVE inquired Gabon Football Child Sex Abuse Case by @OVER THE LIMIT
FIFA has opened an inner examination after three Gabonese football trainers were accused of physically mishandling many youngsters, the top worldwide football body said Tuesday. "Given the earnestness of the charges being made, we can affirm that FIFA's autonomous Ethics Committee has opened an examination," a FIFA representative told AFP. Patrick Assoumou Eyi, a previous mentor of the West African country's public under-17s group, is among the charged.
He was captured on December 20 and accused of assaulting minors.
Orphee Mickala and Triphel Mabicka, both club mentors, were likewise charged for the situation.
Each of the three face 30 years in prison whenever sentenced.
Eyi, notable in Gabon's football world, goes by the epithet Capello.
His name was uncovered by the British paper The Guardian, which wrote about the test in December.
Eyi was the mentor of Gabon's under-17 public group until 2017 when he turned into the specialized overseer of the football class of l'Estuaire, the territory of the capital Libreville.

Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba referred to the case as "intense and inadmissible".
